As a not-for-profit service, fundraising is important for our preschool as the funds raised facilitate the purchase of new resources or improvements to our indoor and outdoor learning environment as well creating social events for our families.

Rebuild our Outdoor Storage Sheds
Our current outdoor storage sheds are in need of lots of attention. We have a leaking water tank on one side that needs to be removed. The current leak is staining the walls and path and is not holding water. The sheds themselves are not sealed from the weather - rain, dust, or are they sealed from rodents and snakes.
Therefore, it is our wish to rebuild new sheds that are more functional, and completely sealed from the weather, rodents and snakes to ensure it remains safe place for staff and children to access.
All funds raised from fundraising throughout 2024, will be going directly towards this project.
Building a Therapy Room
Our beautiful preschool is currently raising money to install a Therapy room at our service that can be utilised by the children that attend our preschool and by children at the local primary school. Our location has its disadvantages, and accessing allied health services has become one of the biggest problems we face.
It is becoming evident that there are more children that are being diagnosed with high learning support needs from a very early age. At Cumnock Village Preschool we believe it’s important to be on the front foot of being able to provide the best outcomes on improving skills to cater for these children, giving them the tools to navigate the everyday world before they attend primary school.
All proceeds from our 2023 fundraising events and donations will go towards creating and installing a therapy room that will bring never ending opportunities for the children of Cumnock.
